The display cover is made of magnesium alloy, while both the upper and lower chassis and the frame surrounding the display are made of aluminum alloy. | The PC-UM10's 600Mhz mobile Intel® Pentium® III processor uses SpeedStepTM technology to enable optimized performance for the road. When running
on battery power, the CPU automatically switches to a lower clock rate,
which drastically reduces power consumption, achieving approximately 3
hours* of mobile operation with the standard battery and up to 9 hours*
with optional high-capacity battery. *Battery life is based in ZD Batterymark 4.01 Note: The standard battery and high-capacity battery cannot be used together at the same time. |

| The PC-UM10 uses Sharp's proprietary low-reflection TFT LCD, which is easy
to view even under bright outdoor situations. Anti-glare processing and a low-reflection coating reduces the amount of reflected light, providing a clear, bright display of text and images.  |
