Environmental Report 2004
We changed the name of this year’s publication to the Environmental and Social Report to reflect the expanded coverage of the social aspects of Sharp activities. The report is divided into three sections: Special Feature, Sharp and the Environment, and Sharp and Society. “Special Feature” focuses on the social impact of company activities with examples of businesses unique to Sharp and comments from stakeholders. “Sharp and the Environment” focuses on Sharp’s efforts to become an environmentally advanced company, while “Sharp and Society” reports on what is being done to ensure that both the stakeholders and Sharp share equally in the benefits of those activities.
