Higher precision gray scale search using normalization
correlation
The IV-S20 processes 256 gray level images using the method of template
matching by normalization correlation. This improves inspection or measurement
precision without influence by variations in lighting. In addition, sub-pixel
precision processing is possible for more precision in positional detection.
2 cameras connected, 2 displays can be input by simultaneous shutter
The same workpiece can be inspected by two cameras at a time, which reduces
total tact time. It is possible to switch two displays or split a display
on a monitor.
Binarization to cope with variations in brightness
The binarization process employs a brightness level monitoring function
and the threshold value follows variations in brightness. This ensures stability
in measurement.
Just choose one of the measuring programs by a
simple key operation.
It is unnecessary to develop complicated image processing programs. All
you have to do is choose one of the measuring programs stored in the camera
using the remote keypad. This means that immediately after purchasing the
camera, you can use it for a production run.
