PN-455 : Main Features

Super High-Resolution, High-Definition LCD Panel
The PN-455 employs a wide 45” super high-resolution, high-definition LCD panel (1,920 horizontal x 1,080 vertical pixels and equivalent to an HD panel), delivering high brightness pictures of 500cd/m2 luminance, 800:1 high-contrast ratio and wide viewing angles of 170°.

Proprietary Advanced Super View (ASV) LCD Panel with Low-Reflection Black TFT Coating
Sharp’s unique ASV Low-Reflection Black TFT LCD reduces the glare of ambient light and reflection, providing easy-viewing pictures even in brightly lit rooms. With clear crisp lettering as well as high-quality pictures, the product provides application possibilities as an information center in stores and other public locations.

Multiple Input Terminals Compatible with a Wide Range of Software
The PN-455 is equipped with a wide variety of AV/PC terminals including analog RGB input (15-pin mini D-sub) for a computer, digital RGB/DVI-D inputs for high-definition picture reproduction, video composite terminals (BNC connector), S-video input and video component input (also for component) to meet the needs for the wide range of PC software as well as DVD and video.

Wide Range of Display Variations Including Multi-Monitor
The Enlarge function enables Multi-Picture Display (four-picture display [2 x 2] or nine-picture display [3 x 3]) and is easily set using the On-screen Display (OSD). The 10w + 10W built-in amplifier also enables direct connection to speakers.

  Examples of Multi-Monitors
Multi-Monitor can be set while viewing the OSD menu.

Multiple Display Control and Management (Identification Recognition Function)
A management PC with RS-232C control can control ID-set multiple displays*1 individually, enabling power on or off, switching inputs and controlling display adjustment and settings.

*1 The number of connectable display units for the unified control/management depends on the RS-232C cable lengths and environmental conditions.

  System Example

Daisy-Chain Control
Daisy-chain connection is possible with an analog 15-pin mini D-sub terminal to compose a simple system without image distributors or RS-232C distributors. The image can be shown on multiple displays at the same time (mirror display) using a simple system connection.

Conventional systems need distributors and complicated composition with greater costs.

Conventional systems

Daisy-chain connection provides simple system composition without distributors.
