Sharp Corporation will take part in CEATEC JAPAN 2014, a comprehensive annual exhibition showcasing the latest in IT and electronics, from October 7 to 11, 2014 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture.
Under the theme of 'Discover Good Life', Sharp will display numerous new technologies to propose a new life style including demonstration of entire home energy management system and new display applications. Sharp’s exhibition includes an introduction of Sharp's latest products including 4K LCDTV AQUOS and proprietary technologies.
Exhibition Highlights
1. Smart/Sweet Home Zone
In this zone, Sharp will present a good life style with communicating home appliances, making full use of renewable energy and internet-of-things. In this demonstration, Sharp will introduce energy solution products including solar cell system, battery, and HEMS (Home Energy Management System) along with user-friendly products equipped with COCORO-Engine technology.
2. AQUOS 4K Zone
Sharp will promote its proprietary 8K high resolution display prototype. In addition to our 4K-ready AQUOS product lineup, AQUOS Quattron Pro ("AQUOS Quattron+" in the Americas) with high image quality equivalent to 4K resolution will be exhibited.
3. Smart Phone World Zone
In this zone, a range of smart phones with frame-less design and various demonstrations using smart phones and tablets will be available. Visitors to this demonstration corner can experience latest smart phone and tablet features.
4. Car Life World Zone
Here, Sharp will introduce our proprietary technologies including Free-Form Display technology and 3D motion sensors introducing a safe and comfortable in vehicle designs merging our proprietary component technologies.
