Sharp Receives Line of the Year Award 2007

Sharp Digital MFPs Given High Praise from American Independent Evaluation Agency BLI*

Sharp Corporation's digital MFPs have been awarded the prestigious Line of the Year Award 2007 by Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI), a New Jersey-based independent evaluation organization for business-use office equipment. This award is given annually to the company with the best product line. Five Sharp digital MFPs also received the Pick of the Year Awards Autumn 2007. These Sharp products were given high marks for their basic performance in the areas of reliability, multi-task performance, and operability, and also for their network-supporting functions.

The winning products started to become available worldwide in January of 2007. The MFPs are compatible with Sharp's unique Open Systems Architecture (Sharp OSA), which has also been given rave reviews. With Sharp OSA, it only requires a small amount of time to customize the operation panel and set-up connections with external applications. This allows users to easily integrate their Sharp digital MFP into their office workflow according to their specific needs.

Sharp looks forward to a continued rise in customer satisfaction as it strives to take product performance to the next level and strengthen its approach to production-oriented document solutions.
