In order to achieve sustainable development and mutual prosperity with suppliers, Sharp wants to include suppliers in efforts to fulfill the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR).
To this end, we are conducting green procurement based on our Basic Purchasing Principles.

We have created the Basic Procurement Concept, Guidelines for Procurement Activities, and Requests to Suppliers, documents that set rules and guidelines offering all suppliers equal opportunities to supply Sharp, by carrying out fair evaluations, abiding by all laws and social standards, and protecting the environment in activities related to the purchasing of parts and materials.

In order to fulfill our CSR in the entire supply-chain with our suppliers, we have established the “Sharp Supply-Chain CSR Deployment Guidebook” to promote CSR procurement activities.

We carry out green procurement so that together with our suppliers we can make environmentally conscious products.
