LCDs have conventionally had disadvantages in "viewing angles". Advanced Super View liquid crystals have realized wide viewing angles of 170 degrees both horizontal and vertical by liquid crystal molecules aligned to all directions like a "firework". Also, Advanced Super View liquid crystals adopted "normally black" system to achieve high contrast of 500:1. Advanced Super View liquid crystals are newly developed high performance TFT liquid crystals.

| Because liquid crystal molecules move to the same direction, the display looks different when seen from a different angle. |
Because liquid crystal molecules move to all directions, the display looks the same when seen from any directions. |

When the power is on, liquid crystal molecules slant to all directions like a "firework" to realize wide viewing angles of 170 degrees both horizontal and vertical. Display colors are less dependent on the angle they are seen, and reversal of tones doesn't occur. Therefore, vivid image can be seen from any directions. |
